| The Heroes Who Appeared in the Spider-Man Series! Posted: 23 Jul 2022 11:06 AM PDT Spider-Man: Freshman Year is an upcoming MCU series that will follow Peter Parker’s first year as Marvel’s flagship web-slinger. Today, at Comic-Con 2022, Marvel just gave us an update on this much-anticipated animated series. Of all the announcements they made, one of them revealed who the characters would appear in the series. Including the interesting superheroes who will appear in Spider-Man: Freshman Year. Before discussing other superheroes, let’s first identify the main stars of the animated series freshman year, namely Peter Parker. Given that this series will tell Peter’s early story that is completely different from the film, it means he is not the Spider-Man we know. Even though they both started their adventures since they were still in high school, this Peter will be mentored by Norman Osborn. Even more interesting, it is likely that he will also have another identity besides Spider-Man. Found by WABetaInfo, launching Fonearena, users will later be able to use this Avatar as a “mask” when making video calls. Not only that, this Avatar will also have a dual function as a Sticker that can be shared in chat. Original TV anime from director Shingo Adachi seems to have won over the hearts of anime viewers from all over the world, with over 9.5 thousand votes, which was 1.33% more than the votes received by the second-ranked Uncle from Another World. It appears to be a slower season for sequels, despite Overlord IV and Classroom of the Elite Season 2 ranking third and fourth, as the rest of the Week 3 list is all seasonals (including the second cour of Summer Time Rendering). | Lycoris Recoil Gets Underwear-shaped Merchandise Posted: 23 Jul 2022 10:03 AM PDT The Aniplex+ Twitter account has revealed several Lycoris Recoil goods, including a multi clear case with a shape inspired by Takina Inoue’s boxers from Episode 4, that it is currently taking pre-orders for. The Trunks Shape Multi Clear Case has two designs, with one featuring a handgun while the other features shots from the anime in a film reel format. The case costs 1,600 yen (~US$11.76) with tax included.  The other, more conventional merchandise includes visual acrylic boards and acrylic mascots. The 2,200 yen (~US$16.17, tax-included) acrylic boards come in three varieties, with each featuring one of the show’s promotional visuals. Meanwhile the 1,500 yen (~US$11.02, tax-included) acrylic mascots come in four designs to represent the main characters. Also being sold is the Alan Institute Pin Badge, which costs 650 yen (~US$4.78, tax-included). The Lycoris Recoil items are currently up for pre-order on the ANIPLEX+ webstore.
