Facebook’s Dark Mode for iOS Feature Missing? • Gadget World Posted: 31 May 2022 07:32 PM PDT When using a smartphone at night or when the lighting conditions are not bright enough, for some users, the UI display with “Dark Mode” will make the eyes less tired or sore. This is implemented by a number of popular social media platforms, with Facebook itself introducing this Dark Mode feature in 2020 for both mobile and desktop versions. But a “weird” thing happened to Facebook users on iOS or iPhone, because it was reported that the Dark Mode feature on Facebook in their application had disappeared altogether. And this also includes Facebook’s support for dark mode toggle system-wide. The exact reason why the feature is missing from the Facebook app on iOS users is unknown, although some predict this is just a temporary “bug” until the next update. It was also revealed that if Facebook did remove this feature in its application, there would generally be an official notification from the relevant party. Because until now there has been no official announcement stating that Facebook will completely eliminate the Dark Mode feature, while it is certain that this is just a bug.
