| Ms. Marvel: Who is the Mysterious Agent in the Credit Scene? Posted: 08 Jun 2022 08:31 AM PDT The Ms Marvel TV series is the next project from Marvel Studios after they successfully released Moon Knight. The first episode of the series presents the story of Kamala Khan’s transformation into a superhero. The main premise of this episode presents the setting of Kamala’s family life and also her social life. And at the end of the episode, the fans got an unexpected surprise. The moment Kamala Khan uses her grandmother’s bracelet, which turns out to have cosmic powers, is the first moment Kamala becomes a superhero. Kamala herself accidentally uses this power at the AvengerCon event, and instead this power brings destruction to the show. And as a result of that, Kamala became the center of attention. Not only the attention of the visitors at the event, but there were also other figures who were interested in Kamala’s strength. This is revealed in the post-credits scene of the episode, where a familiar figure appears and tries to find out what really happened to Kamala. Who is the figureThe post-credits scene begins with the appearance of a Damage Control agent, Sadie Deever, who sees Kamala’s epic moment at AvengerCon. He then showed the video to his partner, P. Cleary, who asked Deever to take it with him. Deever may be the first character to appear in the MCU, but not for agent P. Cleary. Agent P. Cleary first appears in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where he appears in the scene when Peter Parker, May, Happy, and MJ are captured by Cleary and his organization. In fact, Cleary had time to interrogate Peter. In this scene, Cleary seems to show no empathy for the situation that happened to Peter Parker and proves that he is a ruthless agent.

And this is different from the first episodes of several previous Marvel series, which from the beginning have shown what kind of threat the main protagonist will face.
Even so, on the other hand, this seems to give a signal that the Damage Control organization will have a big role in the story, perhaps as an enemy that Kamala will face. Jaume Collet-Serra directed the film from a script by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. Previously, Collet-Serra successfully worked on several big films such as Nonstop and Run All Night. The success of the two films is also expected to occur in the Black Adam film, which will feature Dwayne Johnson as the main character. The film will tell when Black Adam aka Teth-Adam is in prison for thousands of years after getting the power of a god. Adam is then freed and plans to bring his unique justice to the modern world. It’s been a long wait, because since 2020, Nothing hasn’t released their smartphone. But Nothing confirmed that their first smartphone will be released in the summer of this year.  The latest leak from a leakster named Yogesh Brar through his twitter account, discussing where the Nothing Phone (1) smartphone will be produced. The leakster said that the phone will be produced in India. This is done to reduce the cost of smartphone production. Production in India may indeed be lower than in China, due to the large number of orders for technological products to be made in the country of bamboo curtains. In addition, Nothing Phone (1) is also rumored to be entering the production stage soon.

A fugitive in the COVID-19 subsidy fraud case in Japan, Mitsuhiro Taniguchi arrested in Indonesia for allegedly violating immigration laws. On Wednesday, Indonesian Police said local authorities arrested Taniguchi the day before in Lampung province about 280 kilometers from Jakarta. The Japanese Embassy in Jakarta has asked the Indonesian police to find Taniguchi after he left Japan for Indonesia since October 2020. According to NHK, Taniguchi has been on a wanted list in Japan on suspicion of telling his family members to cheat money from a government subsidy program for businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Japanese police have also arrested his ex-wife, a 45-year-old company executive, and his two sons who are in their 20s in Mie Prefecture in May. Japanese police plan to transfer Taniguchi to Japan. “The Directorate General of Immigration will coordinate with the Japanese Embassy for the repatriation process of the Japanese citizen to Japan,” said Director of Immigration Supervision and Enforcement I Nyoman Gede Surya Mataram during a press conference at the Immigration Directorate General building, Jakarta. Mitsuhiro Taniguchi reportedly entered Indonesia using a limited permit visa on 16 October 2020. He also has a limited stay permit card from the South Jakarta TPI Special Class I Immigration Office issued on 19 April 2021, which is valid until 17 June 2023. Japanese investigators suspect the family fraudulently claimed at least 900 million yen, or about 7 million dollars. The Japan Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the case. |

Shuhei Yabuta, who directed the Vinland Saga anime, also tweeted stating that the staff would be the same as the first season. Shuehei Yabuta, who worked on the first season, tweeted saying that the staff would be returning. Yabuta is currently working at MAPPA, although he directed the first season of Vinland Saga as a freelancer. He is best known as a CG director and he worked on titles such as Highschool of the Dead (MADHOUSE) and later on WIT Studio's Attack on Titan. Vinland Saga is based on a manga by Makoto Yukimura, initially published in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine. In late 2005 the manga moved to seinen magazine Afternoon, where it's still being serialized. The story is a dramatization of Cnut the Great's story, with a heavy focus on Thorfinn Karlsefni Thórdarson, who is given a sullen personality and revenge goal. | Vinland Saga Season 1 to Stream on Netflix, HiDive, and Crunchyroll Posted: 08 Jun 2022 08:15 AM PDT The official website for Vinland Saga revealed that the first season will stream on Netflix worldwide excluding China, and in select regions on HiDive and Crunchyroll beginning July 7. The anime original premiered in July 2019. HiDive will stream the series in North & South America, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia, South Africa, Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal, while Crunchyroll streams it in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Switzerland. Amazon Prime Video is currently streaming the series worldwide excluding China. Vinland Saga Season 2 was announced for January 2023. MAPPA is in charge of the animation production with key staff reprising its role. Vinland Saga has previously won the Anime of the Year Award at the 6th Anime Trending Awards in 2019. | Hands On: Apple’s M2 MacBook Air Ditches the Wedge | by PCMag | PC Magazine | June, 2022 Posted: 08 Jun 2022 02:01 AM PDT With an Apple M2 chip and a redesigned, slimmer chassis, the new MacBook Air is more than just a simple upgrade. Check out our first impressions. By Brian Westover The biggest product news out of Apple’s WWDC keynote wasn’t related to iPhones or the Apple Watch. Instead, it was the debut of the M2 processor and the all-new, all-different MacBook Air. In addition to the latest processor, the Air is getting its biggest redesign in years, bringing it alongside the latest entries in the Mac family, like the MacBook Pro and the Mac Studio. Apple invited us to head out to California for the event, giving us our first opportunity to test out the slimmer-than-ever laptop. Here’s what we saw and what we think about it. It’s hard to pin down any one change as the most important in a redesign that’s so comprehensive, but there’s one change that’s certainly the most obvious: The tapered wedge profile that the Air made iconic is gone. Shrunk from an already-slim 16mm down to a svelte 11.6mm thick, the new Air drops the taper for a rectangular profile that has a consistent thickness from front to back.  But it still manages to be one of the slimmest laptops around, shaving 20% of the volume of the previous model, and cramming more power than ever into the 13-inch design. Which raises the obvious question: How does it feel? Lifting, opening, and typing on the MacBook Air felt surprisingly solid. The aluminum chassis is just as rigid as on past models, and the smooth action of the hinge made one-handed opening a breeze. The 2.7-pound weight is also crazy lightweight—this is one laptop you’ll hardly know you’re carrying when it’s in a bag. The new Air is also available in different colors. But, if you were expecting the candy-colored rainbow of hues seen on the iPhone or the iMac, think again. The new MacBook Air starts with bare aluminum and offers four successively darker shades: silver, Starlight, Space Gray, and Midnight.  In addition to finally being available in black (Midnight), the MacBook Air also comes with color-matched charging accessories, so your power connector will match whatever color tone your Air has. But the charging block, which now has a compact design with two Thunderbolt connections, doesn’t match. It’s only offered in white. The port selection of the MacBook Air follows the template set by the previous model, with one major change. In addition to a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports for connecting accessories and external displays, and a lone headphone jack on the right for sound, Apple has brought back a fan favorite: the super-convenient MagSafe connector.  The magnetically attached power connector is more than just a convenience, lining up whenever you bring the power plug close enough. It’s also a safety enhancement, reducing the catastrophic aspects of tripping over a laptop power cable, and reducing the damage that older barrel plugs and newer USB-C chargers can experience when bumped. The MacBook Air comes in just one size, but the sleek laptop is closer to the old 12-inch MacBook than the previous 13-inch Air, despite offering a larger 13.6-inch display. With ultra-slim bezels, it puts more visible screen in front of users, while still paring down the overall dimensions of the laptop. And it’s colorful, too. The Liquid Retina display looks amazing, with 500 nits of brightness that makes the 1-billion-color panel really pop. The new Air also gets a sharper 2,560-by-1,664-pixel panel that looks suitably premium.  Above the display is a 1080p webcam, which looks better than any of the 720p cameras used on past MacBook Air models. Finally, the new MacBok Air benefits from major upgrades to the computing hardware, and it’s all about the M2 chip. The first of the second-generation Apple Silicon CPUs, the M2 promises speedier performance, better graphics capability, and more energy efficiency than the previous M1 chips and possibly than equivalent Intel processors. We’ll have to wait until we can run some tests to actually speak to these claims, but there was no denying that the MacBook Air models we saw were snappy and smooth, offering the sort of notably nimble responsiveness that comes with a big step up in capability.  But for our hands on, a different aspect of the hardware was especially notable. Like past MacBook Air models, the new Air cuts down on thickness by using a fanless design, letting the processor keep cool through a simple heat sink and passive airflow. No fans means that this is a silent machine as well as a slim one. We’ve long considered the MacBook Air to be one of the most influential designs in laptops. It helped usher in the ultraportable laptop category, and has set the tone for great machines that are still super-efficient. That’s just as true today as ever, with the new MacBook Air rethinking several facets of the MacBook Air without betraying the core ethos of the machine. It’s always been light; this one is lighter. It’s always been thin; this one is thinner. And it does it all while adding function and capability that the previous MacBook Air just didn’t have.  But this is also the first time in years that we’ve looked at the Air as something other than Apple’s entry-level laptop. That’s now changed. It may not be as expensive as the MacBook Pro—the new M2-powered 13-inch MacBook Pro is $100 more than the Air’s $1,199 base price—but it’s been a long time since the MacBook Air felt as premium as its Pro siblings. And that’s an impressive feat. |
